Blessed to Bless

On this page I want to share with you guys some of the ways in which we are trying to live out this call of being “Blessed to be a blessing.” They might not be the right fit for you, but I hope that these small examples can serve as inspiration for you and your family to find ways in which you can use all the blessings in your life to love and serve those in our world in need.

1. The coffee you should buy!
If you love coffee as much as we do, you will love Camano Island. Not only is their coffee fresh and better tasting than any you’ll find in your local store, but it actually supports the hard working local growers who produced the coffee. Camano Island supports the work of Agros International which is doing incredible work to give people around the world the resources they need to succeed and be self sufficient. It’s awesome. And did I mention this coffee comes right to your door? Oh the joys of delivery. So check it out and start drinking coffee that is truly good.

2. Sponsor a child in Haiti! Now that the world is paying attention to a country that has been suffering for decades it’s time to make a difference that will last. This is a great way to personally get involved by getting to know and helping to care for a child. Hope For the Children of Haiti is a great organization so check them out!

3. Shop with a conscience! No link here just a huge way that you can make a difference in your everyday purchases. Choose local over chain first of all and remember that if something is really cheap for you that most likely someone else is picking up the difference. You can send a powerful message with every dollar you spend. Do your homework and know where your food is from, how it is made, and who is making it. Consider the real price of what you buy, not just the price tag.
